Vaginal Birth After Cesarean, or VBAC, is the act of having a vaginal birth after having a previous cesarean section. Some women choose to amend this using numerical characters based on how many vaginal births or cesareans they have had. Examples include 2VBAC (2 vaginal births after one cesarean) and VBA3C (vaginal birth after three cesareans).
